Child Safeguarding Policy
The standards and protective measures used to support children and young people on ElearnerSpace.
Version: 1.0 · Effective: 07/12/2026
1. Our commitment
ElearnerSpace is committed to a learning environment that respects the dignity, wellbeing, privacy and safety of children and young people.
2. Expected behaviour
Staff, tutors, learners, parents and other participants must communicate respectfully. Bullying, harassment, grooming, threats, discriminatory abuse and sexually inappropriate content are prohibited.
3. Parent and guardian involvement
Parents and guardians should help younger learners protect passwords, use suitable devices and report worrying messages, contact or behaviour.
4. Tutor and staff communication
Communication with learners must remain professional, age appropriate and related to learning or support. Unapproved private contact outside the platform or institutional arrangement should be avoided.
5. Images and recordings
Identifiable photographs, videos, audio, testimonials or learner work must not be published publicly without the required permission and consent.
6. Reporting a concern
A safeguarding concern should be reported promptly through Contact Support with enough information for a confidential review. ElearnerSpace may restrict accounts, preserve records and cooperate with responsible institutions or authorities.
7. Immediate danger
Where a child may be in immediate danger, the responsible adult should contact the appropriate emergency or child-protection authority without waiting for an online response.
