What is Classification?
Classification means:
👉 putting things into groups
We group things because they are:
✔ the same
✔ similar
Today we
Even Numbers
Even numbers can be shared equally into two groups
Example:
2 → ⚫ ⚫
4 → ⚫ ⚫ ⚫ ⚫
They can be split into equal groups.
Example of Even Numbers
Even numbers:
2, 4, 6, 8, 10
12, 14, 16, 18, 20
👉 They end with: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8.
Odd Numbers
Odd numbers cannot be shared equally
Example:
3 → ⚫ ⚫ ⚫
If we try to split:
👉 one is left over
Examples Of Odd Numbers
Odd numbers:
1, 3, 5, 7, 9
11, 13, 15, 17, 19
👉 They end with: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
